Job Summary The Forecasting and Inventory Planner (II) is responsible for the creation of the forecast and execution of the inventory plan to meet sales and service objectives. The Forecasting & Inventory Analyst position is NOT remote and must report to the Marietta, GA office. This is accomplished by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Designing and generating weekly and monthly statistical forecast reports. Make recommended adjustments to forecast and inventory targets based on changes in demand and market trends. Utilize best methods (statistical models and software tools) in creating forecasts and respective inventory targets. Manage inventory targets (including safety stock levels) that are approved by management. Prepare, report, and communicate forecast and inventory measurements to management (forecast accuracy, inventory plan vs. targets). Assemble and analyze all data pertinent to creating the sales forecast (historical sales, market trends, seasonality). Relating and measuring the impact of forecast accuracy. SAFETY * § Observe all current Duracell safety policies and procedures. FLOOR STOCK REPLENISHMENT / RECEIPT / LINE SERVICE * § Must be able to use a computer to access the AS400 system to order, issue and receive materials. * § Must be able to create bar codes for finished goods and cell aging * § Ability to enter data into AS400 system to ensure inventory and location accuracy. * § Utilize and maintain visual control Systems. * § Must be able to load materials from staging area with forklift to tugger carts, hand load material to tugger carts and use hand truck to ensure delivery to point of use. * § Insure AS400 system first in first out barcode issue transaction is completed where applicable. * § Insure all points of use and storage locations including work in process, finished goods, and scrap are identified and properly stored in designated locations. * § Take appropriate action to maintain material flow through assigned area of responsibility. * § Quality Checks - Must verify part numbers and skid quantity. * § Record, enter, and insure accuracy of traceability. * § Weigh and enter departmental scrap. * § Enter non-conformance tickets in AS/400 and attach barcodes to non conforming product * § Cross train to other jobs as required supporting manufacturing / warehouse operations Job Standards and Critical Skills * § Completes required safety/orientation training, i.e. - training, hearing conservation, lock out/tag out, hazard communication, JSA's, etc. * § Must possess peripheral vision and depth perception in order to be trained to operate forklift; must be able to operate forklift up to 90% of shift. * § All Material Handlers must be forklift licensed. * § Daily use of prescribed medication must be cleared through the medical department when operating a forklift. * § Basic interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively with various department personnel. * § Physical stamina necessary to stand and walk up to 90 percent of work time depending upon work area * § Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 35 pounds for up to 50 percent of work time depending upon area. * § Must be able to operate a standard forklift and narrow aisle fork lift. * § Must possess peripheral vision and depth perception in order to be trained to operate a forklift to safely and correctly load and transport materials. * § Must possess the analytical ability to distinguish a wide variety of materials. * § Must be able to read, write, and have a basic knowledge of mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). * § Must possess analytical ability to use computer and all systems needed to perform all function of the job. * § Must be able to manually transfer propane tank at waist level as need to replace empty forklift tank * § Quality Checks - Must verify part numbers, skid quantity and location. * § Record and insure location accuracy. Responsible for all aspects of process safety covered processes, including collection of process safety information, hazard analysis, ensuring mechanical integrity, set up of Inspect/Test/Maintain (ITM) systems, change management and safety reviews. Management of Dust Hazard Analysis and recommendations for covered processes. Oversee thermal safety/pressure vessel programs, which includes identification of safety devices, setting up ITM schedules, maintaining training records and coordinating 3 rd party inspections for covered systems/vessels. Responsible for all aspects of emergency response and business continuity. This task includes training and management of a 4-shift emergency response team and ensuring the correct evacuation and response to incidents involving fire, spill, injury, illness, severe weather, and workplace violence. Maintenance Technicians (or Technical Operator) are assigned to a line and build capability within the team: Communicates WPS and BDE information during the shift Team Meetings: Breakdowns occurred the last 24 hours (PM Cards, Dice Charts) Follow up needed on breakdowns New work requests and defects during the last 24 hours Completed PM work during the last 24 hours Discuss any findings during PM activity Planned maintenance for the next shift (job plan, required resources to execute plan) Assure failed components from breakdowns are in parts morgue and PM card is completed in MaintainX Validate that all breakdowns have been captured on the department dice chart. The Process Engineer is responsible for providing the technical support to drive required improvements for a process area or sections of equipment generally under the direction of an Operating Department Manager. One process engineer could support multiple high volume lines for example. Responsibilities Lead technical changes on lines or in a process area which will improve the reliability of the equipment, improve the quality of the product, reduce changeover times, and improve ease of operation or safety of the operation. Lead the technical transfer of new initiatives from Product Development to the plant ensuring all start up criteria and quality criteria are achieved. Responsible for assisting the department in the development of required procedures and training materials and delivery of training to operating personnel. Works on any project which helps the department achieve its costs and loss reduction objectives to drive the plant to achieve its compelling business need. Qualifications An Engineering Degree is required. Statistical Process Control and Six Sigma tool knowledge and demonstrated use of tools is preferred. A demonstrated ability to lead teams or project endeavors in and out of the work- place. Proficient in Microsoft Office software is required.

Responsibilities PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: Support the month end close process including posting journal entries, preparation of financial statements, financial reports, and supporting analyses (both defined and ad hoc). Support annual budget and monthly & quarterly forecast updates as required. Perform monthly variance analysis to understand changes vs. prior year/budget/prior forecast, along with meaningful commentary to explain results to various levels within the organization. Helps ensure effectiveness of financial processes and help to eliminate non-value-added tasks within the team. Drive cost savings initiatives and support loss elimination efforts to ensure targets are achieved. Interact with other business members to provide consultative support for business improvement initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports and recommendations. Support implementation of strategic business and/or operational plans, projects, programs and systems. Support Annual Standard Cost update and provide related variance analysis. Qualifications EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience in the manufacturing industry. Bachelor's degree in business required. Finance or Accounting preferred. Strong understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including US GAAP. Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and variance reporting with experience in SAP and Hyperion preferred. Strong problem-solving skills as well as professional written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Should require less than 10% travel but does require a willingness to work extended hours during times of heavy workload.

Designs and develops primary and secondary packaging for a cross section of Duracell products per Global Sector Initiative Master Plans. Primary focus will be on Lithium Coin and new product packaging. Supports Front End Innovation, Material and Structural Development in line with our Sustainability Principals. Scope includes introduction of new packaging materials, styles, and equipment, across the Duracell Global Segments. Cost Savings on materials and labor. Working cross functionally on project teams and with packaging sites.
