Summary: The Video Content Creator reports to the Communications Manager and Multimedia Coordinator and is part of the Communications Team. This is a mostly remote part-time, exempt position based in the Billings, Montana office.
The primary focus is to assist with developing and implementing a comprehensive video strategy, producing high-quality video content, executing video shoots, and ensuring alignment with the company's brand, vision, and strategy.
The position requires creativity, storytelling, and editing skills to produce well-executed videos. The position will also require an understanding of social media and keeping up to date with current trends.
Responsibilities:
Visual Content Strategy (40%)
Assist with the development and implementation of a comprehensive visual content strategy through video products aligned with brand goals and audience preferences.
Create and propose creative video content ideas based on the content strategy to fulfill the organization's video needs.
Collaborate closely with social media, marketing, graphic design, and other teams to ensure a smooth video production and post-video launch.
Maintain visual consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all video products, ensuring they reflect the brand's identity and values.
Analyze video performance metrics and adapt content strategies to drive engagement and growth
Video Production Assistant (20%)
Assist in setting up various photo and video equipment, including multi-camera interviews, greenscreens, gimbals, studio lights, etc.
Assist with capture and post-production of video/photo shoots ensuring a consistent, high-quality output.
Video Creation (40%)
Assist with visual content creation, including scripting, storyboarding, capturing/collecting footage, editing, and final production.
Create original video content for platforms such as Instagram and YouTube, and internal usage for the organization.
Review raw footage and pull selects and soundbites.
Enhance footage by inputting graphics, motion graphic text, improving and correcting lighting and colors, and inputting sound, which may include searching for stock music tracks, editing voice-overs

Water Quality Permitting Scientists are responsible for performing scientific and technical analyses, calculations, assessments, and determinations essential to the implementation of water quality programs in the State of Montana. This Groundwater Water Quality Permitting Scientist will be responsible for writing individual groundwater permits for facilities discharging both domestic and industrial wastewaters in Montana as well as other permit writing and administrative duties as necessary.
When a municipality, industry, or other entity wishes to discharge water to state groundwater, that entity must first obtain a permit from DEQ. Montana Groundwater Pollution Control System (MGWPCS) permits regulate wastewater discharges by limiting the quantities of pollutants to be discharged. The limits and requirements in the permit help ensure compliance with Montana's Water Quality Standards, State and Federal Regulations, and maintain the designated beneficial uses of the receiving groundwater. DEQ develops the limits and requirements for a given permit based on a facility's operations, type and amount of discharge, and the nature of the receiving groundwater, among other factors.
Individual permits are tailored to each facility and take into account the type and volume of wastewater discharged, the location of the discharge, and the nature of the receiving groundwater. Examples of permitted facilities include municipal sewage treatment facilities, housing developments with their own sewage treatment infrastructure, and industrial facilities needing to discharge certain types of waste.
