Assist in gathering supporting documents and ensuring compliance with all state and county grant application guidelines.

Stay informed about DNR funding and other relevant state funding initiatives.
Requirements:
Proven experience in grant writing for state and county funding, particularly in the social services sector.
Strong understanding of government contracts, funding regulations, and RFP processes.
Experience working with nonprofit organizations (at least two nonprofit grant proposals per year).
Ability to work independently as an independent contractor on a per-proposal basis (approximately 36-40 hours per proposal).
Exceptional technical writing skills with a keen eye for detail and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in grant tracking, budget preparation, and reporting.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple proposals during peak seasons.
