Co-lead the writing of lesson worksheets and problems and recording of lessons and problems.
Co-lead the development of annual, quarterly, and weekly goals for your team.
Give and receive feedback from peers, to continuously improve the team's work products.
Contribute to hiring, training, and improvements to standards and processes.
Must be able to join regular meetings between 9am-5pm EST to plan, edit, and revise work products.

Interfacing with other Shipyard Departments/Offices may be required to develop those products.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
* Review Authorized Availability Work Package (AWP) to support work below:
o Develop Corporate Cost Estimates
o Develop, review and edit Job Summaries (JSs)
o Develop, prepare, and edit Component Unit Identifier Phases (CUIs)
o Develop, prepare, and edit Task Group Instructions (TGIs).
o Develop material ordering documentation, e.g., Job Material Lists (JMLs) necessary for authorized work.
The contractor shall be required to enter data and information into various software systems, and otherwise use these systems accomplish the tasks above. The software systems may include but are not limited to the systems below or their equivalent in the shipyard being supported:
* Advanced Industrial Management (AIM) system;
* Material Requirements (MRQT);
* Automated Technical Information System (ATIS);
* Deficiency Tracking System (DTR);

* Review and ensure that TGIs meets all SY specified requirements
* Review and ensure that technical information in the TGI meets the requirements of the SUBSAFE program, Level 1 material control program, Scope of Certification (SOC) program, fly by wire (FBW) program, Deep Diving General Overhaul Specification (DDGOS) manual, submarine maintenance standards, various technical manuals and applicable drawings as required.
Incorporating Lessons Learned
* Review SY lessons learned and other sources, e.g., HIT KIT, for the same job that is assigned and ensure that all lessons learned are incorporated into TGIs.
* Review DRs that have been identified as applicable to your job by SY management and incorporate as necessary.
Support Corporate Cost Estimates
Review the estimate at the task level and verify that it meets the requirements of the SY guidelines. Update as necessary.
Compare estimates to corporate planning estimates and make sure they are equal for like work.

Job Summary:
The General Grants Specialist will report to the Assistant Vice President for the Office of Sponsored
Projects. This position will be responsible for supporting grant accounting functions, subaward
management/monitoring and updating active grant folders, and act as backup support during seasonal
peaks.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business,accounting, or related field; OR a combination of education and
relevant industry experience
• Experience and proficiency of Microsoft Excel
• Exposure to grant funding policies and procedures, applicable local, state, and/or federal
regulations.

Key Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions:
1. Accounting Functions (45%)
• Working with the Sr Grant Administration Specialist, Post Award to check grant team's payment
requests with the compliance of the federal, state, sponsors, and the University's procurement
policies.
• Reconciling all grant fund accounts, verifying the appropriateness of all charges, solving
expenditure problems, and performing budget revision as needed.
• Generating timely, accurate financial reports to aid Principal Investigator (PI) in proper grant
administration and all required grant financial reporting.
• Meet with PIs to facilitate the financial regulations, preparation of billing by creating invoices,
preparing any required documents for internal reviews, and then submitting invoices to the
funders
o Working with the Business Office for Federal fund drawdown
• Closing grants in the Banner system in conjunction with grant end dates
2. Subaward Management (30%)
• Reviewing subrecipient proposals
• Preparing subaward agreements
• Obtaining the necessary approvals from grant stakeholders?
• Monitoring subrecipient performance and modifications

3. Grant Process and Compliance Management(20%)
• Working with PIs to manage all administrative aspects of the grant

• Update grant list spreadsheet and set up active grant folder
4. Performs other related duties as assigned (5%)
• Actively participates as an effective member of team by completing assigned duties, accepting
additional assignments or reassignments.
