You will co-lead e development of video courses in business studies, including accounting, finance, etc.
Co-lead the planning of comprehensive curricula and individual lessons.
Co-lead the writing of lesson worksheets and problems and recording of lessons and problems.
Co-lead the development of annual, quarterly, and weekly goals for your team.
Give and receive feedback from peers, to continuously improve the team's work products.
Contribute to hiring, training, and improvements to standards and processes.
Must be able to join regular meetings between 9am-5pm EST to plan, edit, and revise work products.

Job Summary/Description:
Are you a proven multimedia journalist with a passion for news coverage and visual storytelling? Alaska's News Source is seeking an experienced MMJ who is ready to immerse themselves in the nation's largest statewide community, as well as pitch, travel, shoot, edit, and present your compelling news stories on-camera daily.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Research, pitch, gather, write, and report news stories on-air and online in the most accurate, appealing, timely, and creative way using all sources
* Report "live" on the scene and the CTV Digital Desk, especially during breaking news
* Make regular beat checks and pitch stories of interest to our statewide viewers
* Conduct interviews in the field and on set
* Develop and maintain sources of information and knowledge about Alaska
* Demonstrate sound news judgment, and collaborate with others to present the story
* Must be able to utilize non-linear editing equipment on a daily basis (Grass Valley Edius experience is a plus)
* Enterprise hard-news, research-driven packages under tight deadlines
* Pitch stories daily through the story pitch process and work directly with the assignment desk and Managing Editor to develop the stories to fruition daily
* Attend/host/speak at community service, schools, and community events; meet and greet viewers
* Post and update stories on the web, often remotely from the field and while traveling for news
* Provide news content for social media, including Facebook, and interact with viewers
* Possess a broad and working knowledge of the viewing area, including people, places, and history
* Enter scripts, CG text, and times into newsroom software (ENPS) prior to newscasts
* Use knowledge of appropriate field lighting to enhance overall news presentation
* Critique, feedback, and training are part of the job
* Communicate regularly with the digital staff and other appropriate staff members during breaking news
* Follow clothing and appearance guidelines
* Must be a visual storyteller; perform creative stand-ups and explanatory live shots
* Evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field
* On-air experience in the broadcast news industry is required
* Experience with broadcast/digital cameras, newsroom software (ENPS), and non-linear editing (Grass Valley Edius experience a plus)
* Be able to write in a clear, concise, conversational manner
* Knowledge of AP Stylebook
* Must possess excellent interview and conversational writing skills
* Excellent live reporting skills and strong on-camera presentation skills required
