Job Description Primary Duties • Develops engaging and compelling content for a variety of audiences in support of differing objectives. • Leverages knowledge of marketing communications strategy across all channels including print, web, social media, mobile, and video. • Assists AVP of Marketing and Communications in the development of content strategy. • Researches, writes, edits, and publishes materials for digital platforms that are captivating and SEO friendly. • Uses working knowledge of SEO and tactics to improve website traffic generation. • Creates digital and print marketing tools including dynamic emails, websites, blog posts, images, and videos that enhance marketing efforts. • Enforces brand tone and voice guidelines for all digital content and copy. • Guarantees the quality of site, email, and digital content to ensure copy, images, hyperlinks, and other assets meet branding guidelines and are fully functional. • Assumes accountability for the accuracy and integrity of content. • Models and upholds company core values. • Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of individuals • Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and follow through • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and prioritize efforts • Strong interest in current media and social media trends • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment • Open to growing as part of a team - ability to take direction and be taught • Knowledge of current cultural and technology trends • Experience with Drupal, Google Analytics, and/or Adwords a plus Additional Information EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: • 1-3 years of experience • Bachelor's Degree in English, Marketing, or a related field • Knowledge of the Insurance/Financial Services industry • Comfortable working with a Mac. • All applicants must submit a writing portfolio in addition to resume and cover letter
