As the hotel grew, Ace and Evelyn added the Four Seasons Dining Room at Will O' The Wisp in 1961.
Meanwhile, outside of Baltimore, a patrol was established in 1963 by Jack Hawthorne at the Oregon Ridge Ski Area.
At this point, there were around 45 patrollers (10 Wisp, 35 ORMSP). There were approximately 70 reported ski injuries in 1970.
Later named Wisp and sold in 1970 by the Heise family along with other shareholders, Wisp Resort is still a popular four seasons resort in McHenry today.
In 1975, the 47 prestige condominium structure that now stands at Will O' The Wisp was built.
In 1987, the two patrols were merged into one patrol.

Recently, December 2017, Wisp Ski Patrol managed an incident on the slopes where a young adult was involved.
In the spring of 2019, Wisp and the other ski areas in the Pacific Group Resorts family created a company-wide Sustainability Program to foster environmentally sustainable business practices.
