Position Overview
This role reports to the Director of Operations and is responsible for leading a team of 2 to 3 Manufacturing Leads, who oversee 12-18 direct labor employees. The Supervisor oversees all activities related to production, personnel, and workflow of products.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages the production of many different sewn products with diverse fabrication across multiple production lines
Achieve a high level of performance by communicating job expectations; planning, coaching, and training employees
Manages workflow by monitoring steps of the production process to meet performance expectations and deadlines
Maintain accurate and timely productivity data for each job in-process
Maintain quality workmanship requirements by enforcing standards and policies
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Performs other duties assigned by management
REQUIRED SKILL SETS:
Minimum of 3 years people management experience
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Access, and SQL

Qualifications:
1. Teaching certification or ability to obtain Kansas State High School Activities Association (KSHSAA) Rule 10 certification.

Essential Functions:

x. When necessary, must supervise students on out-of-town activities, including staying overnight and driving a district vehicle.
y. Must have a valid driver's license.
