# Project Overview:
Louisiana LNG is located approximately 11 miles southwest of Lake Charles, Louisiana. The project includes a mid-scale, mixed-refrigerant Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on the west side of the Calcasieu River. There are five identical process plants. Each process plant consists of one gas pre-treatment unit, one condensate stabilization unit, and four Chart heavy hydrocarbon (HHC) removal and liquefaction groups. The facility will include associated utilities, refrigerant storage, three 235,000m3 full-containment LNG storage tanks, and three marine berths.
# Job Summary:
Performs the job duties outlined below and supports construction operations to ensure the readiness and timely deployment of all welding and NDE associated equipment, tools & materials for all Tank projects. Adheres to and upholds the project specifications and Bechtel Procedures, ensuring all work is executed in compliance with the project plans.
# Major Responsibilities:
+ Develops required Tanks Welding Procedure Specifications (WPSs) in accordance to API, AWWA, ASME codes and standards.
+ Provides instruction, training and qualification of Welding Operators with Automatic Welding Machines including LT-7's, Gullco's, AVW's & AGWs.
+ Provides manual and semi-automatic welding instruction, training and qualification of plate welders with tank industry welding processes.
+ Lead all Jr. Tank Welding Technicians on a project, providing technical and construction welding oversight.
+ Tank Welding Technician Schools (TWTs). Provides classroom and hands-on training on the role and responsibilities of the TWT. Program includes overviews on various topics including relevant codes and standards, Bechtel's welding program, quality control checks, testing requirements and documentation requirements.
+ Providing hands-on training, how to set-up welding machines, how to fit plate, how to pre-set joints, trouble-shooting equipment and weld profile corrections.
+ Provides site supervisor training. The use and application of tank fitting tools, equipment set-up and disassembly, site receiving / storage requirements, quality documentation records, and calibration requirements.
+ Fleet restoration and repair of construction equipment and welding machines as required
+ Provide Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) training and certification for "competency" for TWT and other supervisors as needed on a case by case basis.
+ Testing of new equipment, consumables and tools and relaying findings back with operations for consideration.
+ Maintain all QA/QC records such as inspection and testing record, ITPs, welding record and traceability record etc.
# Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
# Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
+ Superior welding skills with multiple processes including GTAW, SMAW, FCAW and SAW
+ Hands on experience with mobile automatic welding equipment, set-up, trouble-shooting & coaching
+ Knowledge of construction, tools, equipment, supplies, and personnel
+ Demonstrated understanding of Tank construction procedures, processes and methods
+ Prior work experience with industry known Tank and Vessel field erectors considered an asset

Louisiana LNG is located approximately 11 miles southwest of Lake Charles, Louisiana. The project includes a mid-scale, mixed-refrigerant Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on the west side of the Calcasieu River. There are five identical process plants. Each process plant consists of one gas pre-treatment unit, one condensate stabilization unit, and four Chart heavy hydrocarbon (HHC) removal and liquefaction groups. The facility will include associated utilities, refrigerant storage, three 235,000m3 full-containment LNG storage tanks, and three marine berths.
Job Summary:
Performs the job duties outlined below and supports construction operations to ensure the readiness and timely deployment of all welding and NDE - associated equipment, tools & materials for all Tank projects. Adheres to and upholds the project specifications and Bechtel Procedures, ensuring all work is executed in compliance with the project plans.
Major Responsibilities:
* Develops required Tanks Welding Procedure Specifications (WPSs) in accordance to API, AWWA, ASME codes and standards.

Job description
Welder II will be qualified on all processes and in all positions for the different processes and on a vast array of material including P1, P8, P10H and nickel alloys. Master welder will be capable and willing to perform all task, without backlash, and in a timely manner, including welding root passes, back gouging, cleanup of back gouge roots, tube to tube joints, tube to tube sheet joints not including QW-193, structural welds, and other pressure retaining welds used in the fabrication of equipment for our customers.
