Pay: $34.14 / Hour Responsibilities Your Role: As a Journey Level Welder, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and equipment associated with all primary production, auxiliary and support equipment using a wide variety of hand and power tools, technical manuals, blueprints, drawings, and other documentation. You will have the opportunity to: * Follow all prescribed safety precautions, procedures, standards and regulations; work with operators, craftsmen and contractors to resolve issues. * Gather, review and analyze information to identify and/or resolve problems. * Perform basic construction work (rigging, installation and demolition) and able to operate shop equipment. * Use a torch for heating & brazing and perform GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG) and SMAW (Stick) welding. * Make weld repairs to broken or worn components including shafts and bearing housings. * Use saws, grinders, metal brake, drill press, pipe threading machine and numerous shop hand tools to include precision measuring tools. * Work independently, with others or in groups.
