Responsibilities:
Performs welding and/or fitting, set-up, and layout of raw and formed metal in the creation of metal products
Basic ability to read prints, tolerances, and job requirements
Cleans and/or grinds welds
Performs general basic maintenance on equipment and workstation ensuring a clean, safe and orderly work environment
Checks of quality of welds, repairing as needed
Performs basic use of grinders, bevellers, torches, and other standard welding equipment
Support our lean manufacturing process with 5S
Adhere to ISO 9001 company standards, work instructions and procedures

* Perform detailed quality checks following D1.1 standards
* Operate tools and equipment, including torch, grinder, air arc, and overhead cranes
* Performing all job duties following company safety rules and proper use of assigned personal protective equipment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Must pass an AWS 2G flux core multi pass weld test on a one-inch plate
* Experience with multi-pass with flux core wire feed welding
* Ability to lift, carry, push and pulling up to 50 pounds frequently
* Capable of walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing as required
* Skilled in using basic hand and measurement tools
* Work requires alert individuals with good balance and physical strength
* Willingness to work mandatory weekday and voluntary Saturday overtime
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* One (1) year or more of welding/fabrication work experience at meets or exceeds performance expectations
