Performing visual quality inspections & documentation according to Roxtec standards. Notify the responsible welder or foreman of defects seen during course of work. Use proper PPE as directed by the Fabrication Shop Supervisor and as required based on the task. Maintain a safe and organized work area following proper safety practices. Other welder and fabrication duties as required. Requirements: Requirements English communication ability both verbal and written. Excellent mechanical aptitude required. Ability to read and understand mechanical (CAD) drawings. Ability to use basic measuring & inspection tools such as: measuring tape, square, calipers, go / no go gauges & radius gauges.
