PNP is looking for a reliable, hardworking craftsperson to assist in the manufacturing of High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) floating structures. PNP's HDPE products are used in a variety of applications including, but not limited to debris management, public safety, wave attenuation, fisheries conservation, water quality management, and marina infrastructure. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, has a positive attitude, and be able to work independently or with a team. PNP will provide on the job training (e.g., rigging, lifting, specialty tool safety and use). PNP will also provide an opportunity to obtain industry standard certifications for select candidates.
Essential Duties:
Perform various fabrication tasks using a variety of materials including HDPE pipe and sheeting, steel, wood, hardware, fiber reinforced plastic, vinyl, rubber, and other materials
Read and interpret plan drawings and orders to select the correct materials, tools and equipment needed to complete work.
Fabricate and assemble products per directions, plan/shop drawings and specifications
Follow quality control procedures to ensure fabricated products meet required standards
Maintain accurate inventory of materials used
Assist with organizing materials and tools and preparing for upcoming projects
Bundle and package materials for storage and shipping
Load and unload raw materials and finished products
Maintain clean work area and equipment; and always follow Health Safety and Environmental procedures
Perform duties and responsibilities in accordance with Pacific Netting Products company policies and procedures
Operate fusion and extrusion equipment, handheld and power tools, saws and cutting equipment, forklifts and other equipment per safety regulations and manufacturer instructions
Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Working knowledge of power tools used in fabrication, cutting, and measuring
Working knowledge of basic carpentry and hand tools
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operation, maintenance, and procedures manuals
Ability to read and interpret plan/shop drawings for fabrication
Ability to understand/perform basic math functions of plane geometry, fractions, percentages, and ratios
Ability to interpret technical instructions in written mathematical and diagram form
Position requires forklift certification and on-the-job training/certification in fusion and/or extrusion equipment
Off-site travel may be required for installation of PNP finished products.

Contract Duration: March 17, 2025 -Open Ended
Compensation: $25 - $38 per hour with weekly pay and per diem packages where "Travelers" are accepted.
Key Requirements:
Citizenship- U.S Citizen with proof (Original/ Certified Birth Certificate or U.S Passport). Must be able to obtain a "DBIDS" Badge.
Certifications- Maritime OSHA 10 certification.
Experience- Previous shipyard experience required
Working Hours- 40-70 hours per week

Scheduling:
Diverse shifts including 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts.
Monday through Friday with overtime, and weekends as requested by client.
Job Description:
Venture Dynamics is seeking a skilled Structural Welder to join our team, specializing in NAVSEA welding projects within shipyards. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in MIG, Stick, and Fluxcore welding techniques to fabricate and assemble metal structures according to NAVSEA standards. Experience in shipfitting is a significant plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality structural welding using MIG, Stick, and Fluxcore techniques in accordance with NAVSEA standards.
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components in shipyard environments.
- Read and interpret weld symbols, blueprints, schematics, and job specifications.
- Ensure all welding tasks meet or exceed quality control standards and are ready for inspection.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure project specifications and deadlines are met.
- Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure structural integrity and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in MIG, Stick, and Fluxcore welding techniques.
- Ability to pass NAVSEA welding certification tests.
- Strong ability to work from blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures in shipyard environments.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience in shipfitting is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with welding inspection and quality assurance is beneficial.
Physical Demands:
