Essential and Physical Activities Functions
• Strength - Position requires lifting up to 50 lbs. Requires stamina and strength to work in tight and confined spaces;
• Motion - Position requires the ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, reaching, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and kneeling. Position requires remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods. Position requires working from heights exceeding 6 ft. off the ground with proper PPE and fall protection;

Responsibilities:
Ability to work independently with minimal to no supervision.

Qualifications:
3+ years' experience welding aluminum components.

+ Set-up and operate various equipment requiring certification + Ability to perform one or more certified processes, such as Tig Weld, NDT, and Operation of Vacuum Furnaces + Required to perform a variety of physical and chemical checks, set-up and operate, load and unload automatic process, manually or electronic controlled high temperature Vacuum Furnaces and associated equipment, and set-up and operate Welders.
+ Ability to use precision measuring devices.
+ Maintain related equipment and required Production and Process records.
**Examples of processes and equipment requiring certification:** Non-Destructive Testing equipment,
Welders including Hobart 300 A, DC Straight Polarity and power supply w/NW-20 T.E. Torch, and Heat Treat Furnace Related Equipment.

**Minimum Experience** : Previously held a weld classification and fulfilled Certification requirements per D.O. D. or successful completion of a one (1) or two (2) year industrial welding program including tig welding at a recognized vocational technical school with experience in welding or equivalent experience of two (2) years in tig welding.
Must pass eye exam with corrected vision per D. O. D. standards.
Successful candidate must pass a diversified proficiency weld test.
