Pay range $27-31 which is our top pay range for a “Class A” welder. This is someone who can fit and weld our most complex projects independently without assistance and with minimal training needed, which would mean 5-10 years experience minimum. Needs to have experience in AWS D1.1 or ideally some type of pipe welding.

We are currently looking for a Welder. This position will be working in a machine shop for the dedicated purpose of manufacturing components, structure, and machines. This role includes setting up and operating welders to hand weld products in a safe, efficient, quality, and ergonomic manner, performing welding operations on various metals and alloys to produce a wide variety of products with high strength and pressure requirements. Candidates must be able to read a tape measure to 1/16", have strong math skills and have the ability to read micrometers. TIG and MIG experience is REQUIRED! Essential Functions Ability to learn how to read blueprints/technical drawings and fabricate from work orders. Continuously produces, at an acceptable level of productivity with some supervision. Produces acceptable-quality welds with good workmanship and very few rejects. Reads and understands weld prints and symbols. Reworks prewelded assemblies from robotic stations. Reworks surface defects such as dings, dents, and buckles in exhaust systems by performing the following duties. Essential Accountabilities: Examines surface of part to determine extent of defect. Fills holes and gaps of defected part by Mig welding area based on specifications. Welds sub-assemblies and/or final assemblies. Smooth welded or defected area by Tig welding if required per specification. 100% rework work on parts requires operator sign-off and documentation of all non-conformances.
