DESCRIPTION OF POSITION DUTIES: Welder/Mechanic/Machinist primary duty is maintaining Marion walking draglines and will assist in mobile equipment, and coal processing facilities repair. Must be able to perform welding duties all mine equipment including coal haulers and track type earthmovers. This person must be able to work at heights (i.e. elevated boom point and tri-structure of draglines). Mechanical experience will include working on heavy, open and enclosed gear systems for draglines (i.e. repair and overhaul). Machinist/Millwright experience and the ability to troubleshoot lubrication systems would be desirable assets. Licensed mobile crane experience is desirable. Raw Machinery is a family owned and operated business. Seeking a full-time Machinist/Welder for our hydraulic department. Must have experience with mig and stick welding. Preferred experience with manual mill and manual lathe. Preferred experience with line bore welding and line bore machining. Perform Aluminum MIG Arc Welding (AMAW) on fixtures, parts, and ramps. May do some TIG welding. Must be able to read blueprints, follow job orders and learn welding techniques and procedures for aluminum trailers. Will operate and maintain setups.
