Must have 1-2 years of Mig flux core experience, with some stick knowledge. Must know how to run an oxy acetylene torch. You need to be able to read a tape measure and read/build off of blueprints. This position is in a fabrication shop, and you will be welding from blueprints. This position will require you to go through 4 tests, that may take 4 hours. The first test consists of reading a tape measure. The second test consists of firing up the torch and showing how to use the torch. The third test consists of taking a small piece of plate and cutting a hole in it with the torch, then welding a piece of pipe to it. If you pass the first 3 tests, the fourth test consists of taking the Xray weld test.This is a 3G uphill weld with an open route.
