Key Responsibilities:

Job Description:
Venture Dynamics is seeking a skilled Structural Welder to join our team, specializing in NAVSEA welding projects within shipyards. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in MIG, Stick, and Fluxcore welding techniques to fabricate and assemble metal structures according to NAVSEA standards. Experience in shipfitting is a significant plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality structural welding using MIG, Stick, and Fluxcore techniques in accordance with NAVSEA standards.
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components in shipyard environments.
- Read and interpret weld symbols, blueprints, schematics, and job specifications.
- Ensure all welding tasks meet or exceed quality control standards and are ready for inspection.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure project specifications and deadlines are met.
- Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure structural integrity and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in MIG, Stick, and Fluxcore welding techniques.
- Ability to pass NAVSEA welding certification tests.
- Strong ability to work from blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures in shipyard environments.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience in shipfitting is highly advantageous.
