Daily Responsibilities: Use of Dragon automated pipe bending machine Use of fully automated layout table, tacking pieces together while spending a large amount of time kneeling on top of the 10+ feet long table Review blueprints to accurately determine weld requirements and fabricate weldment Surface preparation prior to and after welding; sand, grind, wire brush, degrease, etc (Roughly 50% of position) Conduct GMAW-pulse (MIG) welding in the flat and horizontal positions, on multiple types of surfaces including mild steel and stainless-steel components Frequent lifting of 50-100 lbs Work Life Balance Monday-Thursday, 6:00am to 4:15pm No weekends!
