Use tools of measurement and layout techniques to confirm part dimensions and tolerances. Layout, tack weld, heat-bend, clamp, grind, and bolt components to ensure accurate preparation and alignment prior to welding. Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding process to avoid material distortion or overheating. Visually inspect welds for defects, ensuring adherence to AWS and Holtec quality standards. Operate a range of welding equipment (manual, semi-automatic, and automatic), including GTAW, FCAW, SAW, and plasma arc. Safely handle materials and parts using overhead cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with housekeeping and safety standards. *Must pass pre-employment weld tests administered in accordance with Holtec's WPS requirements.
