Position Overview -
We are seeking a highly skilled Code Welder to join our manufacturing team. The Code Welder is responsible for performing welding operations according to established code and safety standards, ensuring that all welded structures meet specified design requirements, quality control guidelines, and industry regulations. Responsibilities:
Perform welding tasks on various metal components according to welding codes and blueprints (e.g., AWS, ASME, or other industry-specific standards).
Ensures that all equipment is maintained and in good working order.
Efficiently and accurately operates welding equipment and related tools necessary for manufacturing and production.
Required to read prints and drawings accurately and follow all work instructions.

Must inspect and repair all defects and discontinuities before Quality Control Inspector is called.
Make repairs on vessels or tanks that have not passed inspection or need repair.
Operates forklift, man lift, and scissor lift.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), welding helmets, gloves, and safety gear.
Assists in training new welders and provide guidance on welding procedures and techniques as needed.

The Tepa Companies are seeking a Welding Apprentice who will Perform welding tasks under supervision on piping and plate within petroleum operations facilities.
