ABOUT THE JOB
The Tepa Companies are seeking a Welding Apprentice who will Perform welding tasks under supervision on piping and plate within petroleum operations facilities. In addition to welding, the successful candidate must be able to assist in tasks related to welding such as fit‐up, preparation, repair, inspection, and post weld preparation. As required, the Apprentice Welder will also be tasked to assist with general site work such as loading and unloading equipment and materials, site clean‐up and preparation, mobilization, and demobilization to and from the jobsite, scaffolding erection, general tank construction tasks and other duties as assigned.
This role is intended for recent certified/college graduates who completed their education in welding within the last year or about to complete their welding program. As Tepa continues to grow, we are focusing on hiring recent graduates to begin their careers at our organization with opportunities to receive hands-on learning, mentorship, and growth within the company. This is an entry-level position that does not require previous experience but does require completed education in the particular discipline.
Job Functions:
* Follow welding procedure specifications when welding
* Train and assist with performing quality welds able to pass radiographic examination
* Train and assist with performing quality welds using various welding process, such as TIG, GMAW, SMAW, FCAW, etc.
* Train and assist with producing quality welds with efficiency
* Train to perform or assist with fit‐up and preparation of welds
* Perform or assist with post weld cleanup, inspection, and repair
* Communicate regularly with the Field Foreman regarding issues and concerns on the job site

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
* High School diploma or GED
* Formal vocational/technical training in GTAW- Gas tuncstin arc welding include basic welding processes and procedures completed in the last year (this role is for recent graduates only)
* Must be able to pass a multi-position weld test utilizing the SMAW process
* Must be able to pass 2 and 3G plate welding tests
* Must be able to perform stick welds on both carbon and stainless-steel plate and pipe
* Must be able to utilize large weld rods (3/16" minimum) in multi-positions in an effective and efficient manner
* Ability to learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and written instructions
* Must have a general knowledge of AWS, API, ANSI, and ASME codes and standards

ABOUT THE JOB
The Tepa Companies are seeking a Mechanical Foreman to be responsible for performing various day‐to‐day tasks required in the field construction of mechanical fuel systems, including but not limited to installation of filter vessels, fueling pumps, dispensers, piping, valves and other components associated with a fueling system. You will also assist with project execution, supervising the project crew, performing or assisting in tasks related to welding or pipefitting, and any other general labor tasks as assigned.
Assist with material takeoffs
Prepare, maintain and update a 3-week look ahead for assigned project
Assist with RFI's
Conduct daily safety meetings (JHAs) when needed
Follow all safety rules, recognize and report safety hazards
Purchase, with a company card, miscellaneous material and items needed to field crew to complete work
Ensure equipment is in proper working condition
Interpret engineering construction drawings and specifications
Track on-site materials with the project schedule to stay ahead of shortages or missing items
Perform or assist in tasks related to welding such as fit‐up, preparation, repair, inspection, and post weld preparation
Determine the required tools, materials and welding methods based on the project drawings and specifications
Follow welding procedure specifications when welding
Examine completed welds
Complete weld maps, as required, through completion of the project
Perform or assist in tasks related to planning, installing and maintaining pipe systems and supports
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must have a minimum of a high school diploma and or it's equivalency with previous years of experience in the field relevant to welding and/or pipefitting and supervisory oversight of a crew
Welding experience required to pass pipe weld tests (SMAW/FCAW in all positions)
Experience properly preparing materials by clamping, cutting or applying chemical solutions to piping
Experience examining completed welds to ensure they are free of defects, smooth, and functional
Ability to prepare and maintain a project schedule
Working knowledge of AWS, API, ANSI, and ASME Codes and Standards
Knowledge of applicable welding standards
Knowledge of applicable pipefitting mechanics
Ability to troubleshoot and strong attention to detail
Ability to comprehend and execute verbal and written instructions and demonstrate characteristics of strong work ethics, competent and self‐motivated
Ability to work outside in harsh weather conditions
Physical dexterity
Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check required to access US military installations
Must have a valid driver's license

About This Role:

What You'll Be Working On:
* Core Welding Operations: MIG and TIG weld steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components according to blueprints and specifications.
* Blueprint Interpretation: Read and understand blueprints or product specifications prior to starting projects.

ABOUT THE JOB
The Tepa Companies are seeking a Welder to perform welding tasks on piping and plate within petroleum operations facilities. In addition to welding, the successful candidate must be able to perform or assist in tasks related to welding such as fit‐up, preparation, repair, inspection, and post weld preparation. As required, the Welder will also be tasked to assist with general site work such as loading and unloading equipment and materials, site clean‐up and preparation, mobilization, and demobilization to and from the jobsite, scaffolding erection, general tank construction tasks and other duties as assigned.
Job Functions:
Follow welding procedure specifications when welding
Perform quality welds able to pass radiographic examination
Perform quality welds using various welding process, such as TIG, GMAW, SMAW, FCAW on carbon and stainless steel
Produce quality welds with efficiency
Perform or assist with fit‐up and preparation of welds
Perform or assist with post weld cleanup, inspection, and repair
Communicate regularly with the Field Foreman regarding issues and concerns on the job site

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Documentation of at least 8 years of relevant welding experience
Must have experience as a pipe welder
Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the aboveground tank construction/repair industry
Must be able to pass an “All Position" weld test utilizing SMAW and FCAW processes
Must be able to pass 2, 3, and 4G plate welding tests
Must be able to perform both stick and tig welds on both carbon and stainless steel pipe
Must be able to utilize large weld rods (3/16" minimum) in all positions and in an effective and efficient manner
Must be able to maintain a 90 - 100% pass rate on all welds requiring radiographic examination
Must be able to fit all types of standard appurtenances
Must be able to utilize automatic cutting torch for such tasks as cutting the slot in the tank shell to receive a secondary bottom
Must possess knowledge of automatic welding equipment, to include operating and repair of this type of equipment
Must be able to effectively utilize an arc gouge and hand torch
