Qualifications The minimum requirements for this position include all of the following: • Proven experience as application developer. • Experience designing and building applications.• In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tool.s • Ability to manage projects through the full development lifecycle. • Strong skills in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and JSON, and Java or .Net development. • Experience with front‐end Javascript libraries. • Development experience building RESTful web services and APIs. • Experience with PostgreSQL / PostGIS, or other relevant SQL. • Knowledge of geospatial data formats, geographic coordinate systems, GDAL, and Esri APIs for webmap development. • Bachelor's degree related to computer science or related discipline and seven (7) years of relevant professional work experience designing and building applications. -OR-• Graduate degree related to computer science or related discipline and five (5) years of relevant professional work experience designing and building applications. -OR-• PhD degree related to computer science or related discipline and three (3) years of relevant professional work experience designing and building applications.
