The scholarships are in the form of a waiver and the funds are not deposited into the student's personal account. Instead, the student's bill is reduced by the amount of the scholarship awarded. If the maximum amount of the scholarship is not used, the remainder is not paid to the student in any form and unused scholarship money cannot be carried over to another semester. The scholarship is applied to graduate level courses only; courses taken for undergraduate credit are not eligible to be covered by the GA scholarship. The non-resident fee scholarship only applies to classes taken on the UCM Warrensburg campus. The maximum scholarship amounts are based on the size of assistantship held. For a full (20-hour per week) assistantship, the scholarship covers tuition costs and mandatory fees up to 12 credit hours of graduate coursework per semester. Graduate assistantship positions less than full will be prorated accordingly.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
A Focus Room Supervisor is employed for 8 hours a day for the 174 days students are in session. Compensation is according to the salary schedule set for non-certified employees as established annually by the Board of Education. All other employee benefits are according to the total FTE of employment for the individual.
EVALUATION
Performance of this position will be evaluated according to board policies by the Building Administrator.

The role of the Office Assistant position is to assist in the facilitation of the student outcomes via the services provided at the Housing's front desks.
The Office Assistant is responsible for the desk operations for a specified period of time and is directly supervised by a Desk Manager.
Examples of Duties
Responsibilities:
To answer all incoming telephone calls (take messages, transfer, etc.), in a courteous and appropriate manner to reflect the business-like atmosphere of an office.
To be aware of all specific area procedures, Housing and University policies and procedures and follow them accordingly.
To assume administrative duties as assigned (example: typing, filing, bulletin boards, etc.), by the supervisor, University Housing, or their designees.
To provide information to students, faculty, staff and visitors about the University, housing, and the services available to them.
To follow all equipment/supplies checkout procedures.
To be aware of emergency procedures and follow them accordingly.
To maintain a communication flow with on-duty and off-duty staff members as needed.
To maintain a professional and efficient working environment.
To be available to work a variety of hours and special occasions (i.e., Easter Weekend, Labor Day Weekend, etc.).
To be able to work the opening and closing of the hall in August, December, May and during all breaks.
To attend all student employee meetings and training. These duties include but are not limited to Training August 13-16, 2024.
Must be able to work weekend shifts,typicallyevery other weekend.
To report maintenance needs properly and follow up with maintenance concerns.
To maintain a positive attitude about the hall and staff
To report for work promptly as scheduled or insure that someone will work for you if approved by supervisor. Arrive at work at least 5 minutes before scheduled shift.
To be responsible for receiving, sorting and distribution of U.S. and campus mail to the residents of the building; checking out keys and key inventory; run errands; and provide other services as approved by University Housing.
To be able to respond to emergency situations quickly. Mobility through the residence hall is essential.
To be observant of and follow all safety and security measures while on duty.
To assume other duties as assigned by University Housing.
Accept responsibility for all procedures, policies, practices as found in the staff manual kept at the front desk as well as directive given by supervisor and University Housing staff.
Foster/Knox and Crossing staff to be available to work during university break periods.
Other duties as assigned.
Employee Expectations:
Must be a UCM student.
Remain in good standing at all times with the University and University Housing (not on probation).
At all times, adhere to Housing and University policies as outlined in the Student Handbook.
Maintain a 2.0 grade point average, both cumulative and semester. Cannot be below 2.00 semesterly GPA 2 out of 3 semesters.
Maintain positive role model behavior at all times on and off duty. Illegal and/or irresponsible off campus behavior may result in employment discipline of warning to termination pending severity and visibility.
Students hired to work at the front desk must live in the UCM housing system.

Compensation
Minimum wage for hours worked in pay period. A maximum of one hour per month for meetings. Pay is semi-monthly.

Responsible for managing and/ or assisting in the care of the neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patient experiencing acute requiring care in the Medical/Surgical unit. Effectively interacts with patient and significant others while maintaining the standard of professional nursing. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will assist in patient care by obtaining data and providing care which meets the department policies, procedures and standards of care. The LPN works as an adjunct to the nursing staff. Performs duties as assigned. The LPN assists the Registered Nurse (RN) to make assessments by collecting data and observations which are reported to the RN. Functions within the identified scope of practice, and HIPPA regulations. Accountable for participation in performance improvement activities, infection control practices and safety measures.

Requirements:
