Summary

* Receive material coming into the building by vendors, customers, or other warehouses. Verify the quantity and description of materials received by checking merchandise against the packing list
* Keep incoming orders stocked on shelves orderly and in designated area and reports freight damage claims
* Prepare branch orders from the warehouse and ensure that the correct number and type of product is being shipped
* Process paperwork regarding shipments including but not limited to; verify that the merchandise to be shipped is correct, apply the correct postage tape and label, follow customer shipping instructions and, insure the shipment when necessary
* Operate machinery including forklift, reach truck, and wire cutting machine when required
* Load common carrier and company vehicles
* Inspect and perform minor maintenance on equipment
* Perform inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies
* Make deliveries to branches/customers as needed
* Assist with other warehouse or branch duties as needed
* Other duties as assigned

General Responsibilities:
Receive orders (pick sheets) from the field sales teams and pull beer, spirits, non-alcoholic beverages, wine cases and split cases (bottles), and beer kegs in accordance with company safety guidelines.
Scan to ensure the correct products are pulled and loaded, and in the correct location.
Pick and safely transport orders utilizing company equipment such as electric pallet jacks and/or fork lifts.
Operate all equipment and perform all duties within company safety guidelines.
Perform safety checks and report needed repairs on all company equipment, including but not limited to: scanning devices, pallet jacks and forklifts, and storage racking.
Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly workplace for yourself and co-workers.
Product rotation and replenishment.
Work to complete tasks in a safe and timely manner.
Perform other duties as requested by the warehouse manager.
Requirements
Sufficiently pass a criminal background check and physical.
Work Monday-Friday between 9 am and 6 pm.
Have excellent attendance.
The ability to lift 50+ pounds with occasional overhead lifting required.
While most duties are conducted in a temperature controlled warehouse, occasional work is required in a non-temperature (covered) drive-thru loading area, and minimally in a refrigerated keg room.
This position requires constant standing, walking, and lifting for the duration of the shift.
Qualifications
A qualified candidate should meet all of the following criteria:
The ability to effectively use company technology, including iPads, the company's internal operating system, and email.
Possess the ability to do basic math computations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
