General Responsibilities: Receive orders (pick sheets) from the field sales teams and pull beer, spirits, non-alcoholic beverages, wine cases and split cases (bottles), and beer kegs in accordance with company safety guidelines. Scan to ensure the correct products are pulled and loaded, and in the correct location. Pick and safely transport orders utilizing company equipment such as electric pallet jacks and/or fork lifts. Key Responsibilities: * Order Verification: * Verify the accuracy of outbound orders by comparing items and quantities to the packing list and shipping documents. * Inspect products for damage, defects, and proper labeling. * Quality Control: * Ensure that all orders meet company standards for accuracy and quality. * Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues to the Shipping Supervisor. * Documentation and Record-Keeping: * Accurately document any discrepancies or issues found during the checking process. * Maintain detailed and organized records of checked orders. * Collaboration and Communication: * Work closely with the shipping team to coordinate the packing and shipping of orders. * Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and supervisors regarding any issues or concerns. * Safety and Compliance: * Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while performing order checking tasks. * Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. * Comply with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulatory requirements. Qualifications: * Education and Experience: * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping, or quality control role preferred. * Skills and Competencies: * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Excellent organizational and time management skills. * Basic computer skills, including data entry and use of inventory/shipping software. * Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. * Physical Requirements: * Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds). * Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending. * Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
