About the Role

Requirements
The Warehouse level I supports the overall enterprise by performing various warehousing tasks across multiple areas following all SOP and customer requirements ensuring a seamless operation across the board and in all areas. They will use various PIV equipment, organizational and basic computer skills in the performance of their daily tasks as outlined each day taking direction from their Lead, Supervisor, Logistics department and Production leadership team following all direction as needed to ensure compliance with all schedules and goals as outlined. They will assume the responsibility and ownership of their roles and tasks working both individually and in team setting in all warehouse locations as needed.
Is present and on-time for scheduled shift to ensure adherence to plant needs
ALWAYS work safely, follow all safety protocols to help ensure the team goes home in the same safe condition in which they arrived
Receive and prioritize daily pick slips for Shipping or Production plant
Verify available inventory so that orders can be picked efficiently
Request stock list for inventory needed to be pulled down to fill production and shipping orders
Pick orders in a timely and efficient manner ensuring it is properly picked (following FIFO at all times), tagged and staged in the appropriate areas per policy or as requested by a lead or supervisor
Fulfill customer (production floor, external customers, etc.) orders accurately and within specific requirements from inventory
Load and unload all transfer trucks verifying all items, date codes, quantity and labeling is correct and staged in appropriate area and ensure items are correctly transferred systematically
Put away all inbound items and pull and/or stage product needed from racking as requested either verbally or by pull lists issued using correct PIV as required
Verify any returned items and re-stock to inventory per policy
Verify BOLs for Outbound shipments prior to leaving the facility as the final confirmation of accuracy and conformity to customer specific requirements
Load outbound trucks with appropriate scheduled shipments using various PIVs to correct shipping standards/regulations while maintaining load integrity and ensuring loads are accurate
Adheres to all safety policies, procedures and practices in all assignments and tasks including wearing all proper safety equipment and following all safety protocols
“Sweet's” PIV certified and maintain continuous certification to operate all necessary PIV's (including foot and dual hand control) and successfully perform daily detailed safety inspections of all equipment
Maintain a clean, organized and GMP compliant work areas and follow all department guidelines including ABC's (always be clean) as well as all department standards as determined
Assist in cyclic inventories within department
Ensure all systematic movements of product is properly completed by policy to maintain inventory integrity at all times
Perform both unscheduled as well as regularly scheduled quarterly / yearly inventories as needed or requested
Develop and maintain positive, professional and beneficial relationships with external vendors/drivers, department team-mates and other internal teams
Meet all of the physical demands of the position which includes, but is not limited to, bending, carrying, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, standing on a frequent basis, sitting, and lifting up to 55 lbs. on an occasional basis
Ensure all quality control procedures are followed at all times
Be able to use and understand various warehouse management systems both on computers and using RF scanners as required by job tasks as needed
Cover all current and new warehouse positions and tasks as needed or requested to include all other tasks as assigned
