WORK SCHEDULE
Part-Time Overnight/Early Morning Hours (2am - 6am) Including Weekends
Job Summary
This is a non-exempt position requiring some experience in a warehouse environment or other related business operations experience. Reporting to the Distribution Center Manager (DCM) or Assistant Distribution Manager (ADM), performs Manual labor aspects of the operations and can assist in administrative tasks for the daily distribution center operations.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Completes tasks related to product receiving and dispatch inclusive of time, quality and quantity verification
Assists with distributing required amount of copies to DWs.
Prints and reviews paperwork and distributes as needed.
Assists in bagging of papers for open routes when needed.
Performs administrative duties associated with the operations
Participates in all the daily operations at a Distribution Center.
Operates all office equipment including copier and computer equipment.
Maintaining a safe work environment by following safety procedures, rules, and regulations
Maintains safety and cleanliness of work area, which may include restroom facilities, interior and exterior of building, as well as retrieval of storage carts.
Availability to assist in other PCF locations if required
All other warehouse and housekeeping work as necessary.

Experience using a PC or computer terminal and standard office equipment.
Competence in the use and maintenance of material handling equipment, and the ability to be certified in the use of this equipment.
Ability to use computer software including Word, Excel, DART, and other company applications.

Ability to meet and/or exceed the established customer service objectives.
Previous warehouse or delivery experience preferred.
Required Physical Abilities
Able to lift heavy items.
Able to unload bundles of newspapers (30 - 50 lbs each) multiple times on a daily basis.

Able to work weekends and early morning hours.
Able to work in warehouse type environment.

Job Purpose:
Maintain the flow of stocked and delivered inventory by pulling material from bins, loading material onto trucks, placing new material arrivals into bins, scanning or entering the data into the inventory database.
Responsibilities:
Individual must be able to perform the essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Unload material, tools, and equipment from vendor trucks; inspecting material for minimum MRC Global quality requirements;
Stock and transfer material, tools, and equipment to appropriate shelf, bin, rack, or pipe bundle by a predetermined sequence, including bind location, size, type, style, and length;
Mark material with correct identifying information;
Transfer material to and from the shops for modification purposes;
Assemble customer orders from stock and package orders in boxes and pallets as per customer requirements;
Pull orders for delivery and stock-to-stock transfer; load onto correct truck or transfer to packing area using a forklift, overhead crane, and heavy equipment;
Prepare documentation for UPS, LTL, SH, or Air Shipments;
Adhere to required safety policies, guidelines and training;
Maintain warehouse cleanliness in compliance with OSHA and customer safety policies;
Perform other duties and projects as assigned;
Take reasonable care for the safety and health of yourself and others; report workplace hazards, injuries, or illness immediately.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree);
Ability to learn MRC Global, federal, health and safety regulations;
