Position Purpose: Under direct supervision, the Warehouse Associate Lead position coordinates dock activities and, as time allows, helps dock operations and housekeeping. This position will have input on the inbound and outbound unload/load of all materials, including supplies (location, process storage, etc.) and will have regular contact with the internal logistics team and external freight carriers. Key Job Activities: • Coordinate and direct the daily activity of forklift drivers and warehouse workers • Help coordinate all outbound and inbound loads, as needed • Answers receiving door and coordinates/directs transporter to dock door for unload, chocks trailers, verifies seal numbers on trailers, completes paperwork (witness sign, wise number attached, etc.), releases transporter when unloading or loading is completed • Relates issues to logistics team regarding any issues with securement of loads.
