Responsibilities: Read and understand job tickets with close attention to film requirements and job specifications. Prepare, set up, adjust, and maintain laminator equipment in accordance to company quality standards and job requirements. Perform all make-ready tasks such as imperfections, adjust tension, and setting up adhesive requirements, etc. Make necessary corrections and/or laminator adjustments during production run to meet and maintain the quality specifications of the job. Monitors company critical control points: artwork matches master sample/proof, coat weight, temperature, and film speed of laminator. Monitor the use of raw materials, keeping in mind waste reduction. Perform periodic preventative maintenance recommended by the manufacturer. Maintain paperwork such as production usage reports, quality check sheets, etc. Troubleshoot and detect cause of laminator stoppage and breakdowns. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Experience: Previous experience in machining or fabrication is preferred. Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks. Experience in warehouse operations, including materials handling and inventory management. Ability to operate forklifts and power tools safely is essential.
