The material handler will be responsible for transporting parts and components from their location to the appropriate areas within the manufacturing center. This person will need to keep up with demand and supply work centers consistently throughout the day. This individual will also learn all areas of the receiving and shipping department so that they can be a back-up and well-rounded in everyday functions of the material handler for the factory. This includes the use of an overhead crane and various walk behind and ride on fork trucks. The working hours are from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 15% shift differential applied.
