The Warehouse Lead is responsible for assisting the area supervisor in the training of qualified, competent and productive staff supporting the objective of providing exceptional service to our Consultants. This is accomplished by assigning work and workstations, training and instructing all new and current associates, check, evaluate and report quality and productivity data with supervisor's direction. The Warehouse Lead supports the department Supervisor to ensure that productivity goals are met.
What You'll Be Doing
The Warehouse Lead will assist department supervisors in the daily activities of their assigned department. A Warehouse Lead can be assigned to any department within the scope of their functional abilities. Which can include:
Pick/Pack/Ship/Replenishment
Help oversee pick/pack/ship/replenishment processes
Coordinate staffing within department areas
Pick/Pack orders as needed
Load and create replenishments
Wave orders through WMS system
Interface with customer service on cancelled orders
Receiving
Manage receipt of inbound freight
Maintain appt schedule for all inbound freight
Help coordinate staffing within department
Unload inbound freight
Receive all inbound freight
Put away all incoming freight into storage bins
Communicate with Transportation, outside carriers and supply chain
Transfers
Coordinate preparation of all inter-org transfers
Communicate with supply chain on transfers
Help coordinate staffing within department
Ensure all country specific requirements are followed
Load all transfer pallets based on specific carrier requirements
Knowledgeable on Haz shipping requirements
Inventory Control
Manage Inventory Control desk
Complete all system moves in timely manner
