Your Day at Lowe's
As a Receiver/Stocker, you keep our stores clean and presentable to improve customers' overall shopping experience. You ensure our merchandise is accurately received and replenished by safely unloading merchandise from incoming freight, moving it to the sales floor, and stocking shelves.
This role is physically demanding, and to be successful, you will need to understand proper lifting procedures and prepare to move merchandise for most of your shift. Additionally, you will replace damaged shelving, keep the backroom organized, handle hazardous materials, and ensure equipment is charged.
While most of your time will be spent in activities that don't involve customer interaction, you may be expected to answer customer questions and assist in handling merchandise.

POSITION SUMMARY
Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for controlling warehouse inventory by coordinating movement of product from production to warehouse staging for pickup by Operations Team.
JOB DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
Keeps warehouse clean and organized
Accepts incoming product shipments and adjust the storage areas when receiving and getting product ready for pickup

Position Objective:
Warehouse staff members are responsible for efficient, safe and accurate loading of the delivery trucks and performing the assigned warehouse maintenance tasks.
Description of Physical Tasks:
Keep all warehouse load areas and grounds clean. Place product on hand truck or dolly (approximately 20 to 50 lbs per case). Fills racks, pushes/pulls pallets and loads appropriate Goldring Gulf Distributing Company products. Climbing on and off forklifts.
Responsibilities Include
* Must report to work on time and clock in and out properly.
* Build loads for each stop, per route.
* Ensure loads are done accurately and neatly with stop and load sequence written on each pallet.
* Load stops on trucks in the order they come off.
* Sweep, mop, and restock pick area before leaving at the end of your shift, keeping work area clean.
* Start pulling product and building the delivery truck loads as soon as the load sheets are available.
* Pull product and build each load directly from the load sheet.
* Prior to starting the loading process, review the total quantity to be pulled and the truck it is to go on. Discuss any space concerns with the Warehouse Manager.
* Pull and load the exact amount listed on the load sheets.
* When Load Sheet are not available, restock and rework returned beer..
* Load the product on each truck properly to prevent damage.
* Visually inspect all cases loaded to ensure they are in saleable condition.
* Be aware of code dates and load the oldest product first.
* Report any accidents to manager on duty immediately.
* Load the bulk trucks orders in the proper delivery sequence.
* Load the side loader trucks in the proper loading sequence.
* Stock up pick up area when needed.
* Upon completion of the loading of each truck give the load sheet to the Warehouse Manager for verification.
* Prior to the end of your shift each night ensure all empty pallets are removed from the pick area and properly stored.

* Operate a forklift, two-wheel hand cart, and scales.
* Retrieve stock to fulfill orders.
* Check outgoing and incoming shipments for accuracy.
* Check orders for accuracy.
* Inspect goods for defects and report damaged or defective material/product to the supervisor or sales staff; no damaged product will be sent out.
* Place compiled/completed orders in appropriate designated areas.
* Monitor the movement and progress of orders to ensure timely delivery.
* Order picking, packing, wrapping, labeling products, and shrink-wrapping orders that are palletized according to a standard operating procedure, making a note to follow any special instructions on orders with customer-specific requests.
* Keep the work area clean, safe, organized, and maintained by following the 6 S's (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety).
* Load finished products/orders onto trucks. Transport stock from storage to warehouse or where needed. Load or unload material inbound or outbound.
* Open bales, crates, and other containers.
* Assist in counting physical inventory.
* Wear the proper safety equipment and always abide by safety rules.
* Make customer deliveries as needed to back up the driver position
Requirements
Education and Experience Required:
* HS Diploma or GED Equivalent from an accredited institution
* Previous 1-2 years of warehouse experience required
* Valid Driver's License in good standing
* TWIC Card Certification
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
* Previous experience operating warehouse equipment, and successful completion of a forklift training program
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
