Akkodis is seeking a Entry-Junior-level Dock/Warehouse Specialist for a (Contract-to-Hire) job with a client in (Everett, WA). (This position requires at least one year of experience in logistics, warehouse support, inventory control or similar experience. )
Rate Range: $23.00/hour to $26.00/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Driving: Some limited driving. Clean driving record necessary.
Dock/Warehouse Specialist job responsibilities include:
Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods to customers and manage the shipping and receiving process.
Work closely with technical staff to understand inventory and logistics requirements, and ensure stock is available as required.
Driving box truck.
Manage all aspects of logistics, including transportation and inventory management.
Use software systems to manage and analyze backlog and produce reports as required.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Desired Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Clean driving record.
Strong administrative and organizational skills.
Past experience in warehouse or similar environment is highly preferred.
Excellent attention to detail.

Summary

* Receive material coming into the building by vendors, customers, or other warehouses and verify the quantity and description of materials received by checking merchandise against the packing list
* Keep incoming orders stocked on shelves orderly and in designated area and report freight damage claims
* Prepare branch orders from the warehouse and ensure that the correct number and type of product is being shipped
* Process paperwork regarding shipments including but not limited to verifying that the merchandise to be shipped is correct, applying the correct postage tape and label, following customer shipping instructions, and insuring the shipment when necessary
* Operate machinery including forklift, reach truck, and wire cutting machine when required
* Load common carrier and company vehicles
* Inspect and perform minor maintenance on equipment
* Perform inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies
* Make deliveries to branches/customers as needed
* Assist with other warehouse or branch duties as needed

About The Role
PCs for People is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver and Warehouse Associate to assist with the collecting and processing of donated computer equipment from our clients. It is expected that time will be split between driving our box truck to collect computer equipment from business clients, organizing and moving inventory within the warehouse, and following our NAID (National Association for Information Destruction) compliance procedures. Most of this associate's day is spent driving and loading and unloading equipment. Additionally, this associate must follow DOT regulations, including DOT physicals, to keep themselves and others safe while driving.
Key Role Responsibilities
Safely deliver and pick-up freight
Play a critical role in ensuring on-time and accurate deliveries
