We're seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate/Non-CDL Driver who's ready to embrace a dynamic role that blends warehouse operations with delivery responsibilities. What You'll Do: As a Warehouse Associate/Non-CDL Driver, you'll wear many hats, balancing your time between the warehouse and the road. Your primary focus will be on warehouse duties, ensuring smooth operations, with driving tasks as needed. Warehouse Responsibilities: Handle shipping, packaging, and receiving of products. Support counter sales by accurately fulfilling customer orders. Maintain and manage inventory in line with company policies. Follow all safety standards, including OSHA and Hazmat, to keep our warehouse secure. Efficiently pick, pull, and fill orders using a sit-down forklift, as well as manual methods. Ensure accuracy by matching parts and serial numbers to paperwork. Receive, stock, and organize incoming inventory. Load and unload trucks with precision using sit-down forklifts, hand trucks, or pallet jacks. Assist with cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels. Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe for everyone. Deliver exceptional customer service, including helping load merchandise into customers' vehicles. Driving Responsibilities: Safely operate Tropic Supply trucks and vans (3 tons or more) to transport and deliver products to customers and specified destinations. Maintain accurate truck logs and conduct daily vehicle inspections. Physically inspect items for damage before delivery. Load, unload, and disperse cargo or materials safely using vehicle equipment. Provide outstanding customer service, building strong relationships with internal and external customers, vendors, and contractors. A strong work ethic and a team-oriented mindset. Ability to lift, push, and handle items up to 75 pounds regularly. At least two years of experience operating warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, hand-truck). Valid driver's license and medical certificate, with a minimum of six months of verifiable driving experience. One year of general warehouse experience. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently, even under stressful conditions.
