What You'll Be Doing:
As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Production & Shipping Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll play an essential part in ensuring our products are prepared and shipped to customers efficiently and accurately.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM with a 1-hour lunch break.

Operate semi-automated machines to label and fill plastic and glass bottles
Cap, label, and prepare products for packaging

The primary focus of the Warehouse II role is movement of product within the warehouse. In addition, this role will serve as back-up delivery driver for non-CDL trucks. Report inventory discrepancies and recommendations for corrective action to leadership for approval and adjust approved recommendations in the system to ensure inventory adjustments are completed promptly.
Lead the operations team to evaluate and improve inventory management procedures within the organization.
Prepare and distribute weekly/monthly inventory reports as required.
Work with Receiving and Warehouse staff, Purchasing, Accounting, and Production departments to resolve inventory discrepancies and billing issues.

Requirements
Minimum of two year's experience in a logistics, manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.
Minimum of one year's experience in warehouse inventory management.
High school diploma
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
Experience and competence with MS Office Products including Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Ability to learn and understand new software programs.
Experience with Sage X3 a plus.
Ability to use a pallet jack, forklift, and turret a plus.

As an Inventory Control Associate at Crescent Electric's Regional Distribution Center, you will conduct all daily functions related to driving inventory accuracy. In this role, you will perform daily cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, inventory management processes, transactional duties in receiving, replenishment, picking, and auditing, and analysis of inventory discrepancies. You will use your problem-solving skills to investigate, verify, and correct inventory discrepancies and develop strategies to prevent future discrepancies.
Primary Duties:
Review customer returns and ensure these returns are processed in accordance with company operating procedures.
Work with the purchasing department to manage the returns to vendor process and assist in the coordination of the return or disposal of obsolete and slow moving products.
Conduct product line/shelving reorganization and ensure accuracy of bin locations in the warehouse. Train and monitor warehouse personnel to do the same.
Sort products by verifying the correct serial number to ensure zero defects.
Verify, format, and print the return to vendor reports.
Maintain an accurate inventory count of ready-to-pack and ready-to-return-to-vendor items by performing daily physical counts and automated inventory transactions and adjustments, as necessary.

Position Summary

Responsibilities

* Requires keeping all storage areas and inventory in neat, organized and sanitary condition as directed by management.
* Deliver items according to concession stands and place inventory in a proper fashion using the FIFO method of rotation (First-In-First-Out).
* Responsible for maintaining the overall security of all storage areas for Iowa Events Center by ensuring that all areas are properly locked and protected.
* Assist with monthly inventory as directed.
