Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000 per year How do our Staff Accountants Drive Impact?The Payroll Accountant is responsible for overseeing the company's payroll accounting process and ensuring the accuracy of payroll-related data within the general ledger. This role is focused on the reconciliation of payroll data, managing the business-level accounting entries for payroll transactions, and ensuring proper accounting for payroll-related expenses and liabilities. The Payroll Accountant works closely with the Total Rewards and accounting teams to ensure accurate record-keeping, timely reporting, and compliance with payroll-related financial policies. General Ledger Processing and Management:Responsible for mapping and translating payroll data into the appropriate General Ledger structure.Timely posting of payroll-related transactions after weekly and semi-monthly payroll cycles.Collaborate with the Dealership Accounting Controllers to ensure payroll transactions are posted to the correct accounts.Perform month-end accounting activities such as posting PTO accruals and Workers' Compensation adjustments.
