    ENTERPRISE: FMYNE We-ko-pa Casino Resort JOB TITLE: Fine Dining Server DEPARTMENT NAME: WCR Food and Beverage REPORTS TO: Fine Dining Assistant General Manager SALARY: $10.00 POSITION STATUS: Regular Full-Time NON-EXEMPT HOUR S PER WEEK: 40 POSITION DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the Fine Dining Assistant General Manager the Fine Dining Server is responsible for overall service execution at the highest level in the Fine Dining Restaurant. This includes selling and serving food, specialty cocktails, themed beverages, beer, wine, and spirits. In addition, the Fine Dining Server will be responsible for performing tableside prepared food items and cocktails. The Fine Dining Server maintains a clean and organized station at all times. The Fine Dining Server will assist with wine service in the fine dining restaurant The Fine Dining server must be highly skilled and passionate for guest service and will be required to be fully knowledgeable of all menu items including food, cocktail, spirits, beer, and wine offerings of the specialty restaurant. The Fine Dining server must be able to perform duties in all casino and resort outlets as designated by business demands. Always maintain the highest level of service standards to provide the best dining experience in the area. Our team will demonstrate and promote our We-Ko-Pa-Way Service Culture at all times. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Essential Duties may include tasks, knowledge, skills, and other characteristics. Provides exceptional guest service to both external and internal guests by maintaining and exhibiting the Casino Resort We-Ko-Pa Way Service Standards Smile and Greet Name and Meet Thank you and Goodbye. Accountable to all standards outlined in the We-Ko-Pa Way Casino Resort service guide. Will be responsible for upselling specialty cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits for the restaurant daily. Will be able to thoroughly explain, spiel, and upsell the menu and discuss the ingredients at every table. Will execute all opening and closing side work including preparing and or ordering all restaurant needs and all other requirements based on restaurant brand standards. Will engage in the art of upselling and guiding guests in their dining experience. Will ensure the accuracy of all orders, correct seat positions, and delivery of items with flawless execution at all times. Will ensure meticulous table maintenance for all guest dining in the specialty restaurant and ensure a team-first mentality. Will lead all tables in their dining room section for food delivery and accuracy of food running. Will ensure synchronized service in the delivery of each course. Will provide a memorable experience to every guest through heartfelt hospitality. Will execute table side items with an emphasis on safety standards and brand standards of food and cocktail execution. Will maintain the cleanliness of service stations, dining room, and patio at all times. Must ensure consistency in the quality of all cocktails, wine, and beer for all guest orders. Must assist in maintaining daily inventory and maintain accurate on-hand products and ingredients for all service stations including coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic beverages. Must be fully knowledgeable of all restaurant menus, ingredients, allergens, and presentations. Addresses any food, beverage, or service-related guest issues and utilizes creativity and resources available to maintain optimum satisfaction. Works on the floor 80% of the time with a “hands-on” mentality for guest service. Must be knowledgeable of all health department standards. Must receive and have a current Food Handler Card at all times. Must complete and maintain DRAM certification or another state-recognized training institution for alcohol safety. Must complete specialty restaurant training and follow all restaurant-specific training and sops. Assists in banquet and catering events for the department. Assists to ensure restaurant menus are accurate and free of debris. Performs other related in ensuringduties as required by the department. Follows all health and safety guidelines to ensure 100% compliance. Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds and push or pull 100. WORK CONDITIONS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to: Bend, reach, stand, and walk for 34-66% of the workday. Eye/hand coordination for 34-66% of the workday. Exposed to hot/cold temperatures for 34-66% of the workday. Exposed to dust for 1-33% of the workday. Sit for 1-33% of the workday. Must be able to obtain and maintain State/Tribal License (including extensive background check). While working on the casino floor, the employee is exposed to a high level of noise daily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Three years in an a la carte restaurant as a fine dining server. 4 or 5-diamond restaurant service, captain, or bartender experience strongly preferred. Must have extensive beer, liquor, and wine knowledge. Level 1 wine certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers is preferred. Level 1 Certified Beer Server from the Cicerone program preferred. Must be able to execute high-end service at a 4-diamond level daily. Strong communication skills and passion for hospitality. Self-motivated with attention to detail Knowledge of beverage operations preferred 4-Diamond resort or casino experience preferred. INDIAN PREFERENCE: Preference will be given to qualified applicants who are members of federally recognized Indian tribes.
