We're looking for a Sales Engineer to play a key role in expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth. You'll work closely with customers, understanding their needs and delivering high-value solutions with our industry-leading aerospace components. Your ability to anticipate market shifts and execute strategic sales plans will be critical to success.
This in-person role is based in Yakima, WA, with an expectation of 40%-60% travel to engage with customers and win new business.
What You'll Do
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at airlines, OEMs, MROs, and design houses
Identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with Pexco's capabilities and strategic goals
Manage the entire sales process, from RFQ and target pricing to quoting, negotiation, and securing purchase orders
Present Pexco's decorative and structural applications to customers, demonstrating our value-driven solutions
Provide market intelligence to help shape strategic business decisions
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure customer feedback is incorporated into product development
Assess project feasibility and its impact on key value drivers
Oversee inventory levels at strategic consignment and stocking locations
Serve as a trusted advisor, supporting customers beyond the sale with superior service and follow-through
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or equivalent (Engineering preferred)
Sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding targets (preferred)
Experience with CRM tools (implementation experience is a plus)
Strong skills in sales forecasting, territory development, and pipeline management
Ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively across all organizational levels
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Customer-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
Ability to travel 40-60%+ for customer engagement
Knowledge of plastic products and materials is a plus
Experience in aerospace, extrusion, or plastics is a plus
