Who You'll Work With
You are a key member of the Office Experience team responsible for the staff and visitor experience of the office. Serving as the first point of contact for clients and visitors to the BCG office, the Concierge Assistant is valued as the "Chief of First Impressions". Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Gymnastics Coordinator, this position will assist with gymnastics operations and general leadership in the gymnastics program. Primary responsibilities include programming and supervision of gymnastics birthday parties, assistance with administrative tasks, as well as maintaining a regular schedule of gymnastics class instruction. The Gymnastics assistant will complete program reporting and assist with special projects. In the absence of the Gymnastics Coordinator, the Gymnastics assistant will serve as acting Gym Supervisor with a focus on safety and provide general supervision of staff, participants and occasional volunteers.
Work Hours: The job requires schedule flexibility to ensure coverage and is primarily responsible for instruction and gym supervision of afternoon/ evening and Saturday classes and to provide leadership and supervision for Sunday birthday parties. Essential Duties:

* Assists with gymnastics class program coordination and supervision for all levels from parent-tot through pre-team and competitive levels, drop-in gymnastics and gymnastics camps.
* Assists with hiring, training, directing, and inspecting work performed by part time staff; assist in providing or coordinating staff training; and assist employees to correct deficiencies. May review and approve biweekly timecards.
* Determine staffing needs and creates schedules for birthday parties.
* Schedule and maintain birthday party reservations; collect and track payments; confirm birthday party details 72 hours prior to event and complete after party evaluation.
* Develop and implement in-house trainings for birthday party and gymnastics staff, such as spotting clinics for new hires and regular clinics for coaches as refresher throughout the year.
* Perform as a gymnastics instructor and/or party host, minimally 20 hours per week. Additional hours in this role may be required. Must also be able to cover a variety of shifts to ensure adequate coverage.

Must be able to push, pull or balance. Requires spotting and assisting patrons during the performance of gymnastic moves. Upper body strength is a requisite to lift/move a maximum of 50 pounds unassisted, and lift/move a maximum of 100 pounds with assistance.
