The Marketing & Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for supporting the marketing, fundraising, and volunteer initiatives and carrying out specific marketing campaigns throughout the organization and will report to the Director of Development. Key Responsibilities: Ensure all outreach, marketing, and fundraising align with our organization's mission and goals. Serve as the lead on all CHS social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn) including scheduling, content creation, monitoring, and reporting. Research to analyze competitive landscapes, market trends, and engagement. Prepare reports by collecting, summarizing, and analyzing social media and website activity data with Squarespace, Google Analytics, and Meta Business Suites. Support the creation of all development marketing materials including print, digital, and email marketing campaigns. Work within software applications such as Adobe Suites and Canva. Maintain and manage an inventory of marketing materials that support CHS and its programs. Serve as content writer and editor for Community Human Services' website. Support CHS' annual quarterly fundraisers, including but not limited to, The Big Share , Shelter Collection Drive , and Golf Classic: Putt Putt Edition by organizing and planning promotional efforts through email, print communications, and social media. Support the Director of Development with sponsorship communication and in-kind solicitation. Actively cultivate relationships with local businesses, schools, and organizations to expand CHS' volunteer base and partnerships. Plan and execute participation in external community events that strengthen the relationship between CHS and prospective donors, volunteers, community members, and those who receive our support. Serve as lead coordinator of our volunteer network, including scheduling and overseeing weekly opportunities, special group events, and community partnerships. Oversee volunteer solicitation, tracking, and acknowledgments within our CRM system ensuring timely communication and recognition of contributions. Closely collaborate with participant-facing staff, Program Managers, and Directors on projects, and initiatives that align within Development. Engage directly with CHS participants when facilitating volunteer-led activities, capturing success stories, and gathering content that highlights the impact of CHS programs, ensuring all interactions uphold the dignity and respect of those we serve with our Shelters, Housing Programs, and Food Pantry. Organizational Expectations Seek out up-to-date information about CHS' programs and services and relevant local, regional, and national statistics that will inform and support our Mission and development goals.
