Experience in the implementation of behavioral assessment/treatment programs with the developmentally disabled population is highly preferred. A basic knowledge of computer systems and applicable software and proficiency with e-mail communication. Good organizational, multitasking, and communication skills (oral and written). Required to follow all safety procedures and requirements. When implementing emergency procedures ('PMT'), must perform maneuvers and actions associated with managing students independently or as part of an orchestrated team effort. Must be able to physically care for younger children up to 6 years old with or without assistance of one or additional designated persons. The job duties require an employee to routinely and safely demonstrate heavy to very heavy physical demands associated with ‘hand on' efforts when physically managing students, under routine, emergency, and/or aggressive behavior management scenarios. This position requires in-person, on-site attendance.
