The Position We seek a dedicated, proactive, and highly organized Volunteer Coordinator to join the VolunteerAlly team and play a key role in expanding our volunteer/nonprofit outreach and engagement efforts. This position is essential in helping us grow our network of nonprofit partners and attract new volunteers to our platform. This role will focus on cultivating relationships with individuals, school groups, clubs, and educational organizations, while also supporting and maintaining strong connections with our current nonprofit partners. You must be a confident communicator-comfortable presenting VolunteerAlly's mission and platform to both small and large groups, whether in person or virtually via Zoom. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategies to engage and recruit new nonprofits and attract individual volunteers, school groups, clubs, and community orgs. Lead campus and community-based recruitment initiatives to attract a diverse and committed volunteer base. Plan and coordinate events to increase awareness, drive volunteer and nonprofit users, site activity, and foster community engagement Provide ongoing support to nonprofits and volunteer groups to ensure a positive and impactful experience for all participants. Represent VolunteerAlly at community events, fairs, and outreach opportunities. Monitor nonprofit and volunteer activities to ensure alignment with VolunteerAlly's mission and adherence to organizational policies and standards. Collaborate closely with nonprofits to understand their evolving volunteer needs and help them effectively leverage the platform.
