Facilitate the setup and tear down of events
Supports Associate Services Team in the creation, planning, and execution of a variety of associate engagement events. Events include but are not limited to ride nights,associate luncheons, DEI Events, associate recognition, PT & FT Gatherings.
Distribute clothing and promotional incentives, including, but not limited to spring weekend wear, Halloweekend gear, and departmental requests.
Assist daily work assignments and workforce distribution to cover events while maintaining budget guidelines and meeting all business needs. Includes the creation and distribution of weekly department schedule.
Involved with the gathering, selection, creation and dissemination of associate life information which includes newsletters, flyers, social media, in-house forums, assigning staff duties.

Associate Experience
You will have the opportunity to engage with, and enhance, the experience for all Cedar Point associates.
Within this role, you will create, organize, and facilitate inclusive engagement opportunities, community involvement events, charitable activities, and recognition programs for over 7,000 associates.
Focus on company-wide communications, and demonstrate ongoing engagement with associates, both individually and in group settings.

Position Summary
This position provides a positive visitor experience through prompt, pleasant and courteous service. It processes transactions for items at Denver Botanic Gardens locations including, but not limited to, general admission, memberships, classes, events and tours. Oversees lost and found and wheelchair and stroller checkout.

General Duties and Responsibilities
* Provides outstanding customer service to all staff, visitors, and Denver Botanic Gardens customers at both York Street and Chatfield Farms locations, including but not limited to phone, in-person, written, verbal, and electronic communication.
* Proactively seeks to be knowledgeable of all Denver Botanic Gardens horticulture, exhibits, programs, and events to reflect the experience and brand at the Gardens.
* Opens, closes, and reconciles daily ATMS shifts.
* Creates bookings and process sales for general admission, classes, tours, and events offered at Denver Botanic Gardens.
* Handles all aspects of onsite and phone membership sales, including taking payment through ATMS, recording member data in Raiser's Edge and printing member cards, helps members with redemption of complimentary tickets to York St. and Chatfield Farms events.
* Runs daily attendance and member reports.
* Helps members and non-members with account management.
* Oversees lost and found and wheelchair and stroller checkout and at Information Desks in Boettcher Memorial Center and Freyer-Newman Center.
* Stocks and maintain brochures, rack cards, etc at Information Desks
* Greets meeting/event guests and contact appropriate staff.
* Maintains regular admissions hours, as well as operate during special events, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
* Acts as a positive role model.
* Works with all departments to assure highest quality experience for all Denver Botanic Gardens visitors within the York Street Visitor Center, Resource Center, Mordecai Children's Garden and throughout the Gardens and, Chatfield Farms ticket booth and entry areas.
* Regular attendance at the worksite may be required. As with all positions at Denver Botanic Gardens, the incumbent must be in good performance standing to be eligible for remote work. Remote work is at the discretion of management at all times.

Executes the sanitation process by the following: Washes tables and chairs in the dining room; Sweeps and mops the dining room floor as assigned; Takes trash to the dumpster; Washes dishes and silverware according to dish washing procedures; Puts clean dishes and silverware away; Assists with cleaning of equipment and kitchen as assigned; Maintains clean, neat, and orderly work areas
Assists with meal service duties through the following: May set dining room tables for meals; may work on meal tray serving line; May serve meal trays to residents (waiter style, as needed); Checks meal trays for accuracy before they leave the kitchen area; Clears tables of dishes and trash; Pushes food carts to appropriate nursing wings; Communicates with residents during meal times to enhance homelike dining experience; Assists with clean-up after each meal and preparation for next meal; Thinks and acts calmly and logically to meet unusual occurrences of the job without being thrown off stride
Follows all appropriate safety and security guidelines, procedures and protocol for residents in the unit
Maintains appropriate, effective communication with residents, and with residents' family or other significant relationships
Provides all care, treatment and services with appropriate dementia care protocols
Participates in relevant educational and training activities as appropriate

Job Description
1. Responsible for assisting in the kitchen with food preparation and assisting with dining room preparation and setups.
2. Works closely with both the Dining Services and Resident Services staff to assure the community residents, guests, and visitors have great food.
3. Assist in serving food to residents and guests. Interact with the residents as serving food.
4. Prepare and serve beverages to the residents during meals. Make sure beverages are always available at the “hospitality center” so the residents and guests have access to a beverage and/or a light snack.
5. Bus tables during and after meals so the dining room is presentable and inviting at all times.
Qualifications
• Ability to read and write English; must be able to read and comprehend menus, recipes, food labeling, chemical labeling and the Material Safety Data Sheets for all items used in this position.
• Demonstrated experience in food service is preferred.
• Ability to deliver the highest level of customer service and hospitality according the community guidelines.
• Must be able to work and communicate effectively with a community senior population.
• Knowledge of all County and State regulations as related to all aspects of food services.
• Knowledge of all relevant food service and fire and safety procedures including OSHA-MSDS sheets and procedures.
