Position Summary:
Thrill Sports is looking for a talented and passionate Video Editor to join our Content team servicing our Power Slap, Nitro Circus, and Street League Skateboarding properties. As a Video Editor, you will play a key role in crafting thrilling moments and creating engaging content for our audience. You will be responsible for editing action-packed content that showcases the excitement and adrenaline of our sports properties. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, technical proficiency in editing, and a deep understanding of visual storytelling.

Essential Functions:
Edit dynamic live event, original, and made-for-social content that includes but is not limited to - promos, hype reels, sizzles, highlights, features, commercials, longform digital series, live event promos, recaps, and short form social content
Demonstrate strong editing skills that lead to compelling and visually interesting storytelling
Perform editing duties in all phases including rough assembly and final master edits
Collaborate with all departments to support initiatives, manage post-production needs, and develop video elements for broadcast, social and digital
Develop, pitch and provide creative input during content meetings
Properly organize and archive projects according to the content team standards
Monitor platform trends and utilize up-to-date posting specifications and formats across major social media channels
Actively participate in creative brainstorm sessions, and be ready to own projects from start to finish
Collaborate across the content, social, ticketing, sales, and partnerships teams to ideate and develop compelling creative video content that align with the goals and objectives of our properties
Ensure that all videos are edited and delivered on time, meeting the project requirements and Thrill Sports's high quality standards
Continuously experiment with new editing techniques and styles to enhance the visual appeal and storytelling of our content
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in video production and editing
Travel to event locations and work onsite with event crew and external production vendors
Performs other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years editing experience in video post-production, specifically for social/digital, live event, sales, and promotional
Strong understanding of storytelling and video editing.
Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop and Media Encoder
Demonstrated proficiency with motion graphics
Strong expertise in post-production capabilities, emerging technology, and trends
Social media savvy with a deep understanding of what makes content work
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
