Description AVP of Business Development Taycor Financial is a rapidly-scaling equipment leasing and finance company headquartered in Los Angeles, CA. We are seeking established Business Development professionals to join our organization. The AVP of Business Development is responsible for originating vendor referral relationships by soliciting essential use equipment sellers within the guidelines of the company and coordinating work within the vendor and sales departments. The AVP of Business Development will work closely with both senior sales management and contacts to prospect, develop and foster strong business relationships between management, vendors (both established and new) and customers. AVP of Business Development is a full-time exempt role reporting to the Vice President of Business Development. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Increasing leasing vendor referral business by establishing and fostering relationships, typically through emails, phone calls, customer visits, and attendance at industry trade shows and conferences.
Establishing referral relationships by identifying and soliciting manufactures, dealers, distributors, and independent equipment resellers.
Anticipate and discover customer needs, develop, and implement equipment financing solutions through referral relationships.
Collect and analyze information regarding customer's income, assets, investments, or debts, while providing appropriate financing solutions after assessing customer's individual needs.
Work with existing vendors and/or customers to enhance their financing program solutions.
Analyze, structure, and price transactions while partnering internally with Credit and Operations teams to help facilitate a successful transaction.
Maintain industry-related knowledge of tax, accounting, regulatory and legal guidelines.
Collaborate with executive team to drive originations and gross margin to team goals and objectives.

An exciting opportunity to lead our Boys & Girls Clubs of Fresno County (BGCFC) is open, and we are looking for our fourth Chief Executive Officer in the history of our organization to make a positive impact on kids' lives. We're seeking candidates who will lead the overall planning and operation of the organization - while providing leadership, direction, and support to the Board of Directors. You will be responsible for bringing the organization's mission to life, as you work to ensure that area kids and teens achieve great futures by delivering a safe and fun space, creating an engaging Club experience, and managing caring professionals to guide them along the way.
Responsibilities
Implement strategic plans as set by the Board of Directors, as well as annual goals and objectives; financial, program and administrative management; and leadership of the organization. Guidance and direction are provided by the Chair of the Board, and by the Board and its Executive Committee.
Promote Boys & Girls Clubs services to individuals, other service organizations and the local community with a focus on collaborative communication.
Direct and participate in public relations and fundraising activities; lead activities to raise funds or otherwise solicit and gather monetary donations or other gifts for the organization
Establish goals and budgets; develop policies and procedures.
Monitor and approve the organization's program services to ensure achievement of the mission and goals of BGCFC in collaboration with and support of the Board of Directors.
Oversee management and attainment of resources necessary to ensure the stable financial operations of the organization are conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
Oversee staffing activities of the organization, including recruiting, training, mentoring, and evaluating both paid and volunteer staff.
Provide leadership to Club staff by developing administrative and operational standards by which goals will be met.
Provide professional leadership to the Board of Directors to ensure the development of an effective and motivated Board, including identification, recruitment, training, and involvement of Board members in meeting the goals of the organization.
Demonstrate that safety is a core value, ensure that the management system conforms with membership requirements and industry standards and is actively engaged in the safety improvement process.
Ensure that the organization is in compliance with membership and other requirements or standards of Boys & Girls Clubs of America, other affiliated and regulatory agencies and that the Organization has standards and measures in place that define effective safety practices, train to those annually, and identify vulnerabilities and strategies to mitigate risks.
Serve as point of escalation, feedback and approval for reportable Club incidents ensuring that all accident and incident reports are completed, up to date and submitted to the administrative office for archiving.
May be assigned special projects periodically by the Board of Directors.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required; advanced degree preferred.
Demonstrated ability to organize, direct, plan and coordinate operations in a multi-unit organization.
Leadership skills, including negotiation, problem-solving, decision-making and delegation.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written; ability to speak effectively and persuasively to groups and individuals.
Demonstrated competency and ability in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with a Board of Directors, staff, community groups and other related agencies.

Bond & Specialty Insurance (BSI) provides management and professional liability, cyber, crime insurance, and surety bonds to or on behalf of businesses of all sizes. The BSI Claim Counsel team conducts thorough investigation, analysis, evaluation, and disposition of claims and claim litigation to achieve superior customer service and to optimize claim results. As a valued member of our team, in addition to claim, you also will provide legal advice to our underwriting colleagues and non-attorney claim colleagues, and participate in BSI claim strategic initiatives. Travelers' Cyber Claim Team is responsible for handling claims focusing on cyber privacy and security breach incident response, computer crime, infrastructure attacks and restoration, notification to affected parties and regulators, business interruption, privacy and security liability, and identity fraud/theft. **What Will You Do?**
Manage a team of claim professionals and counsel.
- Analyze, investigate, and resolve BSI claims of high levels of severity with oversight from claims management.
- Prepare and present reports for management that accurately reflect loss development, potential/actual financial exposure, reserve adjustments, coverage issues, and claim and recovery strategies.
- Retain, monitor, and manage outside counsel actively utilizing litigation management plans and budgets.
- Communicate with underwriting on significant claim exposures.

- Travel to and attend mediations, settlement conferences, claim conferences, field office visits, trials and depositions.

The Center for Alaska Native Health Research is seeking a full-time Project Deputy Director to oversee the management and conduct of research activities funded by the Department of Defense to reduce suicide in the military. Projects include co-developing conceptual framework for identifying and employing interventions, interfacing with military senior leaders, and coordinating with research stakeholders for human subjects oversight, data collection and management, data analysis, and reporting relevant findings. The Project Deputy Director serves as the lead for the management and execution of the project. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: tracking and facilitating the completion of project milestones, deliverables, and tasks; anticipating and resolving problems or issues as they surface; participating in and contributing meaningfully to the research enterprise, and supervising and coordinating support staff. The successful candidate will have excellent verbal, written, and cross-cultural communication skills and a willingness to travel within and outside of Alaska. The position is full-time, 12 months a year, and funded through December 2025, with a possible extension depending on funding.
The incumbent would have four or more years of working experience managing and leading research projects. Experience working with senior enlisted and field grade officers within a military context is preferred. Have experience and comfortableness in leading and managing a small team of researchers to conduct research activities that include collecting and managing data, coordinating between stakeholders, and facilitating analytic processes. Furthermore, the incumbent would be experienced in tracking work activities among researchers and administrative persons to ensure goals and tasks are fully completed on time. Such an individual will have experience communicating via written and oral briefs to senior-level military and civilian leaders. Must be proficient in thinking strategically and operationally.
