RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
Assist QA Manager in monitoring HACCP and SSOP programs daily including data collection, coordination and distribution; ensure paperwork is accurately completed and recorded as required, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and complete and work is performed in compliance with company, regulatory and Federal, State and local policies, guidelines and laws
Plan, direct and review the activities of HACCP Technicians deploying and rotating personnel to optimize department performance by managing quality assurance & food safety checks, validating quality checks against production & customer specifications and managing products placed on hold
Maintain and update all Food Safety related documents (e.g. HA, Flow charts, CCP forms, etc.) including data collection, coordination and distribution, ensuring paperwork is accurately completed and recorded as required

Responsibilities:
Refrigeration Technician position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Operating, repairing, servicing, trouble shooting, and maintaining industrial refrigeration equipment and systems for the plant. This includes compressors, condensers, blast freezers, ammonia pumps, evaporators, and all associated valves, piping and instrumentation

Qualifications:
Qualified candidates for the Refrigeration Technician position should possess the following:
Proven work history in industrial refrigeration in the beef / food industry preferred
Strong Knowledge in RCM dealing with PMs, PDMs and specialty training related to RCM process
Disciplined in areas related to industrial maintenance; electrical, fabrication, fluid power, machining, mechanical, plumbing, welding, construction
Mechanical skills and understanding of basic machine functions
Ability to use common tools such as sockets, drills, and wrenches
Computer and PLC skills
Willingness to work and be on time when scheduled
Ability to read, write and speak English
Strong work ethic and eye for detail
Exemplary safety record (with previous employer)
