The Director of Safety is a strategic leader responsible for the development, implementation, and management of all EHS programs and initiatives across the organization. This position leads the organization's efforts in fostering a proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership & Strategy:

Cross-Department Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments, including HR, operations, and facility management, to integrate EHS strategies into daily operations and project planning.
Provide EHS guidance during the introduction of new equipment, processes, or facilities to ensure compliance from the outset.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and certifications.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in EHS roles with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant EHS regulations and standards.
Proven experience in leading safety programs, conducting safety audits, and managing EHS compliance and risk management.
