What You'll Do:
Serve as a key security advisor, ensuring compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM Rule), DoD Information Security Manuals, and DoD SAP Security Manuals.
Manage and process DD 254s (DoD Contract Security Classification Specification).
Conduct personnel indoctrinations and debriefings for assigned staff.
Oversee physical security requirements for SAP Facilities (SAPFs) and SCIFs.
Liaise with IC and DoD security counterparts to ensure program compliance.
Maintain and update Defense Information System for Security (DISS) or successor databases.
Process Visit Authorization Requests (VARs) for employees and new hires.
Monitor the security customer service inbox, responding within two (2) business days.
Identify and escalate urgent security concerns before employee start dates.
Manage physical security programs, including access control and intrusion detection systems.
Support security awareness training and education programs to ensure compliance.
Conduct annual self-inspections and develop corrective action plans for security compliance.
Qualifications
Must Haves:
Active TS with SCI eligibility (Tier 5R or CE within the last 4 years, Tier 5R or CE within 3 years preferred).
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive security experience within the DoD or Intelligence Community (IC), with eight (8) years preferred.
Familiarity with 32 CFR Part 117, 2001, and 2002, ICDs, ICPGs, SEADs, and DoD Directives/Instructions/Manuals.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong understanding of the security clearance process, Insider Threat Program (32 CFR Part 117), and National Industrial Security Program (NISP).
Attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, strong communication skills, and ability to work independently or collaboratively under tight deadlines.
Willingness to work outside standard office hours as needed.
