About the role RCHDC is looking for an On Site Property Manager who will organize and administer the day-to-day operations of the apartment complex, verify and process information required complying with government regulations. To enforce rules of occupancy in accordance with corporation policy, government regulations, and the project's Management Plan. To coordinate the offering of tenant services that address issues such as life skills, medical needs, employment assistance, and academic support to help build and sustain healthy communities and advance the overall quality of life. The Property Manager is required to live On-Site. A two bedroom apartment and utilities will be provided as additional compensation. What you'll do Review tenant applications for eligibility; maintain and purge waiting lists; show available units. Follow RCHDCs procedure for processing eligible applicants within the program guidelines attached to the property (i.e. TCAC, HOME, HUD, and USDA.) Works diligently to ensure that all new move-in files are complete and orderly. Attends training as needed and recommended by RCHDC. These trainings may require overnight stays out of town. Provide local information of available nearby schools, shopping malls, recreational facilities, and public transportation. Oversees, coordinates, and maintains calendar of events and users for multi-purpose room and computer room use where applicable. Perform social programs duties by coordinating community events such as guest speakers, potlucks, money management/financial literacy education classes, and Neighborhood Watch Programs. Job Description

Friedman's Home Improvement is looking for a Keyholder/Coordinator, Yard, for our Ukiah location. This leader is a key-carrying manager on duty who supervises store/yard operations and leads Team Members in an environment that is customer-focused and grand opening-ready. No previous hardware store knowledge is needed.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide management-level support to all customers and Team Members in the yard
  • Own the daily pulse, flow, and activities of the business channel/department and all Team Members within it
  • Drive customer service and Team Member engagement throughout the store
  • Connection with Team Members is ever-present with a daily check in process and constant teaching, feedback, and coaching on TM performance as it relates to process, procedures, and values
  • Set the retail pace and expectations for the Department through managing Department Heads and Team Members, making sure they have the knowledge and tools to be successful day-to-day as a Values based leader
  • Manager on Duty to include key carrier responsible for opening and closing building, all aspects of the facility and activities on-site during shift. Safety, security, emergencies. Alarm and fire codes
  • Mentor, coach and train Department Heads and Team Members with product knowledge, technical and interpersonal skills to develop and strengthen the team
  • Assign duties and follow up with TMs to ensure timely completeness and accuracy
  • Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow for departmental Team Members


Education and/Experience:

  • Advanced education or training from college or university, with 4+ years in a retail environment or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Minimum mid-level management background with exceptional supervisory skills


Knowledge Skill and Abilities:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Microsoft D365 experience is preferred
  • Ability to lead, develop and grow a team
  • Develop and maintain strong cross-functional relationships

Location/Hours: This is a non-exempt position located at the Friedman's Home Improvement retail store in Ukiah, 1255 Airport Park Blvd., Ukiah, CA. Manager on Duty shifts are monthly rotating morning, mid, and closing shifts.
