Instructional Strategies
1. Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of district's curriculum program and show written evidence of preparation as required. Prepare lessons that reflect accommodations for differences in individual student differences.

Compensation - This position is an exempt, salaried position; salary offers commensurate with experience. The starting salary for a first-year teacher is $62,000.

Support Staff Additional Information: Show/Hide HIT (High Intensive Tutoring) Program Secondary Tutor Reports to: After School Activities Coordinator An elementary tutor will be assigned to an elementary campus for at least one hour after school. Tutors will be responsible for 3-5 students. The tutor will be responsible for developing reading or math skills that students are lacking due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. The tutor will use programs provided by the district to guide the tutoring session. Tutors will need to track the students progress on the software, and run small group instruction with students based on their individual results. The tutor will use the program to run reports and use the program features to run the small group instructional sessions. The program will be open Monday through Thursday from 3:15 to 4:15, and there will be additional sessions from 5:15 to 6:15. Tutors must work a minimum of two days per week. Training on the software programs and structure of a tutoring session will be provided in June. Tutors must attend the training sessions. They will be held on trade days.
